WLP705 Sake Yeast


Product Description

Yeast used in rice based fermentations. To make sake, use this yeast in conjunction with Koji (to create fermentable sugars). WLP705 produces full bodied sake character, and a subtle fragrance.

Attenuation: >80%
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: >70°
Alcohol Tolerance: 16%

Note: White Labs yeast must be kept cold to ensure freshness. They are shipped with ice packs, but need to be refrigerated upon receipt. Remove them from cold storage a few hours before use.
