WLP590 French Saison Ale Yeast


Product Description

This is a unique yeast strain used to produce farmhouse-style beers with a phenolic bite and moderate esters. This yeast is versatile, highly attenuative and produces a cleaner aroma than other yeast strains commonly used for farmhouse style beers.

Attenuation: 73-80%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 69-75°F
Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10%

Note: White Labs yeast must be kept cold to ensure freshness. They are shipped with ice packs, but need to be refrigerated upon receipt. Remove them from cold storage a few hours before use.
