Product Description

A steam style beer with roots in San Francisco. Also known as California Common, this is an early American style unique in its use of lager yeast fermented at high temperatures. Includes Malt Extract, Specialty Grains, Hops, Grain Bag, Priming Sugar and Liquid Yeast. Makes approximately 5 gallons.

Original Gravity: 1.053

IBUs: 55.6

Color: 56.3 SRM

Alcohol: 5.1% ABV

Ferment at 58-63 degrees Fahrenheit.

Note: This kit comes with White Labs liquid yeast, which must be kept cold to ensure freshness. it is shipped with ice packs, but needs to be refrigerated upon receipt. Remove the yeast from cold storage a few hours before use.
