Product Description

A flavorful German Hefeweizen. Significant banana and clove flavors arise from the yeast. Written by Andrew Myers, this recipe took first place in the Samuel Adams homebrew competition.

Includes Malt Extract, Specialty Grains, Hops, Grain Bag, Priming Sugar and Liquid Yeast. Makes approximately 5 gallons.

Original Gravity: 1.067

IBUs: 12.2

Color: 4.7 SRM

Alcohol: 6.63% ABV

Ferment at 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Note: This kit comes with White Labs liquid yeast, which must be kept cold to ensure freshness. it is shipped with ice packs, but needs to be refrigerated upon receipt. Remove the yeast from cold storage a few hours before use.
